ART/ELECTRONIC ART

Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign or CorelDraw acceptable via E-mail or FTP Transfer.

Send a duplicate electronic file with 'text converted to outlines or curves' in case we don't have all your fonts.

Send a hard copy printout indicating color placement and composite final appearance.

Trapping we will adjust your electronic file to our production requirements.

Tints, halftones & graduated screens for screen-printed items should be supplied to size, at 85 lpi halftone screen frequency.

PRICING

Catalogue pricing is suggested retail and excludes delivery and taxes. We will endeavor to honor prices shown until February 15th, 2018 or until our next catalogue is publiched; however, we reserve the right to change prices at any time, if necessary, due to circumstances beyond our control.

Distributors are under no obligation and will not suffer in their relationship with Artech should they choose to sell for prices other than those indicated.

Exact repeat discount of 2% from current prices available on many catalogue items if our previous Reference Number and year produced is clearly indicated on your re-order.

Cancellations or changes will be billed for work done to date including proofs.

Special quotations will be valid for 30 days unless otherwise confirmed in writing.

Color matching using the numbered Pantone Matching System (PMS) available at no additional charge on most custom items. Coated Pantone colors will be matched as closely as possible depending on the background material used.

Free die-cutting on custom shaped items.

Over / underruns most items are subject to plus or minus 5-10 % of quantity ordered and will be billed accordingly.

Co-op programs are available through Customer Service and must be factory authorized and clearly identified for correct billing.

ORDERING/PRODUCTION

Faxed orders are considered originals to avoid duplicate production and billing, any later correspondence must read "Confirmation only".

Your order form should be clearly printed and proof-read for spelling and correct pricing before sending, as we cannot be held responsible for errors caused by handwritten or telephoned instructions.

Faxed artwork is not suitable for reproduction and is subject to art charges to bring up to our specifications.

If electronic file & hard copy are not submitted our staff artists will prepare a pleasing layout from your to-scale sketch at $35(G) per half hour. Included in this service is a FREE ELECTRONIC PROOF. Show relative size of all copy and logos, indicating colors and placement.

Typestyles should be clearly identified by name as we have thousands on computer with more being added regularly. If you are sending electronic art containing type be sure to convert a second copy with 'text as outlines' so we can print the file.

We will confirm receipt of your order by fax or mail within 48 hours, indicating our Reference Number and the date we expect to ship your order. Please read the confirmation carefully.

Your final artwork approval is required before we can start production scheduling.

Production time required varies according to item.

Critical delivery dates should be arranged with Customer Service prior to sending your order. Our production schedule and special transport details must be re-confirmed upon our receipt of your final artwork approval.

Consecutive numbering using letterpress available 5/32" in black only. Add 500 @ $.20 ea. 1000 @ $.14 ea., 2500 @ $.10 ea., 5000 @ $.08 ea., 10000 @ $.06 ea. (5G). For adhesive back decals we highly recommend clear lamination to reduce letterpress ink fading.

Other materials not shown are available on request and we will be pleased to supply a quotation.

Union label not available.

Please note that we reserve the right to refuse any order which, by its nature or content, is determined to be unsuitable by our office or production staff. Before using, user shall determine the suitability of the product for the intended application, and assumes all risks and liability.

Vacation periods for our production staff only, are the last two weeks of both July and December.

ELECTRONIC PROOFS

Electronic proofs available on request at no charge.

Proofs for non-fulfilled orders must be billed at our true production cost.

Pre-production product proofs are available for some items at additional cost on quotation.

Customer supplied original or electronic art is returned with your order. If goods send to third party, artwork will be returned to distributor UPS ground, insured for $100, pre-paid and charged to your account.

Our production artwork, films and dies remain the property of Artech and are available for use only on re-orders.

SHIPPING/INSURANCE

F.O.B. our plant via best way, or choice of carrier indicated on your order.

Insurance shipments will be insured upon request of client, who becomes owner of the merchandise upon acceptance by the carrier. Artech cannot be held responsible for insured or uninsured shipments damaged, delayed or lost in transit, but will of course assist in tracing at no charge.

C.O.D. shipments to a third party are available at additional charge on approval from our credit department. All necessary forms must be supplied at time order is placed.

Drop shipments are available at no additional charge to one location if properly addressed labels are supplied at time order is placed. For additional locations, or where labels are not supplied, add $5 net per address to usual shipping fees.

PAYMENT TERMS

Artech clients with previously approved credit net 30 days from each invoice date. Past due invoices are subject to a service charge of 1.5 % per month and any orders in production will not be released until account is current.

New Artech clients until credit has been approved our items are 50 % deposit with the order and the balance C.O.D. Please allow three weeks for credit check of 3 trade references and your bank.

Payment by credit card for added convenience we also accept payment by VISA & MasterCard when signature on file.

Returned goods written authorization must be obtained from our office before returning any merchandise.

NEED FAST SERVICE? Many stock shape items for which we have the die may be produced in 5 to 10 working days, at no additional charge. Please check with Customer Service first, then indicate clearly on your P.O. if you require this service.
